journal questions

If success is not on your terms- if it looks good to the world but does not feel good in your own heart- it is no success at all.

-Anna Quindlen

1.What is your definition of success?

2. List some of your natural gifts and talents that you would love to explore further.

3. We touched on this for the week of Authenticity but let’s revisit it from the perspective of your dreams. Write down a dream that you would love to pursue if you knew 100% that you would succeed and could attain it.

4. When you reflect on the state of the world, what one issue deeply affects you?

5. How can you create change, support or be of service in this area now?

6. Write down in one sentence (or 3 words) how you would like to be described by others? e.g inspirational, loving, courageous.

7. What positive change do you want to be a part of in your lifetime?

8. Take a moment to close your eyes and imagine the most on purpose, successful, happy, authentic and fulfilled version of yourself.

Describe this version of you in a sentence (or more!).e.g A vibrant woman who isn’t scared to take risks, be adventurous and have fun. She inspires and motivates others through her work and family life to enjoy every moment and live an exciting life that’s rich with experience

9. By making choices from the perspective of the above version of yourself, you are more likely to honour who you want to be and who you are meant to be, rather than do what you’ve always done.

By thinking ‘What would this version of myself do in this situation?’, you’ll be able to get a clear answer and guidance based on your highest knowing.

Write down a plan or simple steps you can take now to move towards this vision of yourself. Remember, the real change happens in the small steps you take daily.
