5 minutes to nourishment

Only have 5 minutes to yourself? 

This posture ticks all the boxes! Take a moment to breathe deeply and rest completely. If you have a little longer you could do the guided meditation like this (10 mins) or listen to some soothing music. Diffusing essential oils can add a whole new layer of nourishment to this also.

you will need:

A chair or coffee table

A cushion or pillow

An eye pillow or rolled up hand towel

 

 

Simply rest your legs on the chair, place a cushion under your head and an eye pillow or rolled up hand towel over your eyes. A towel or blanket folded to cushion the edge of the chair underneath your knees is also a nice addition.

Soften your body and feel held and supported. Practice your 3 part breath and imagine you’re breathing in a deep sense of nourishment and love to every cell of your being.

This will show you how 5 minutes can change truly change your state and will allow you to see how a little self care can go a long way.

Make sure to release the guilt, be present and give yourself permission to rest completely.
